Warp pads can currently hold up to 1000 fuel, which is simply not enough to travel large distances. Travelling over long distances would mean kingdoms have to claim several chunks of land to chain warp pads together, which looks ugly on the map and might prevent other players from claiming land they would like to have. These claimed chunks would only belong to a kingdom to have a warp pad on them and nothing else, basically wasting the chunk. That's why I suggest increasing the maximum amount of fuel a warp pad can hold.
As an example, Almere has a warp pad in the Netherlands and one in Russia. It costs over 2600 fuel to travel between the two points, which is not possible with the current maximum fuel limit, requiring several extra chunks to be claimed to make it work. Now yes, this is a cross-continental warp, but Europe isn't even that big compared to any other continent. The amount of chunks you would need to claim to create a proper warp path between some countries or colonies once the world gets expanded would be absurd.
I understand the owner doesn't want warping and teleporting to be the main method of transportation in the server, but as it stands, warps pads are basically useless if you're looking to create a colony even a few countries away. Fuel is already expensive enough as it is, costing several stacks of coal to reach the current max of 1000. That's just for one trip for one person with one warp pad too, so you'll need double that if you want to go back to where you came from. Not even to mention if multiple people in a kingdom want to use it. It's a very costly method of transportation, and with the distance you can travel effectively limited the entire structure just feels like a massive waste of resources.
I propose the maximum amount of fuel be increased to 3000, at least for now. That should be enough to cover most of Europe, possibly giving people a reason to actually start colonizing outside of their nation. (Also, as coal will still be needed to fuel the structure, it still won't be a very reliable way of moving between two spots as it will be incredibly expensive.)
