It also makes it easy for players to go back and find stuff they forgot, cause they can just use the discord search feature, such as coords or details or server lore

this is only a good feature for smaller/closed servers where everyone can reliably link their discord. if the server grows (which it hopefully will) the discord chat will become extremely crowded. and when a separate channel for the Minecraft chat is created, it will end up being skipped more often than not.

I am looking into DiscordSRV, but not for discord messages: but for other things like notifications when people join/leave and when your Kingdom gets invaded.

Why no Discord messages?
Because, when there are more total returning players than +-20, the chat will be spammed from all sides: we've tried this with enabling chat on map.mckingdom.net; but it just turned out in a lot of spamming since DiscordSRV/external chats uses different formats than the in-game chat.

I MIGHT add a channel where messages are logged, but honestly I don't want people to feel like their conversations are watched 24/7. All messages are currently logged in the console, so if something happens staff will always be able to retrieve it.
